The Moto G Power 5G (2024) is now available on its first US carrier at an unbeatable price

Yes, you can have the latest Moto G Power edition (with 5G) for only $159.99, and you don't need to trade anything in, port in an existing number from a different carrier, or even open a new line of service... unless you want to.That's Cricket's list price for new and current customers, but before you get too excited, we still expect Motorola, Amazon, and Best Buy to charge $299.99 for an unlocked Moto G Power 5G (2024) variant soon. 

At 160 bucks, this is a pretty epic value proposition, with not only a sizable 5,000mAh battery on deck but also a fittingly large 6.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate capabilities, and perhaps most impressively, blazing fast 30W charging technology.

The Moto G Power 5G (Gen 2) is extremely generous (for its price bracket) as far as storage and memory are concerned as well, with 128 and 8GB respectively, while also supporting external microSD expansion of the former and rocking a dual rear-facing camera system with a more than respectable 50MP primary shooter.

On top of everything, this mighty new contender for the title of best budget 5G phone in 2024 is also undeniably stylish and easy to distinguish from other mid-rangers available in the US thanks to a vegan leather body. Cricket Wireless, mind you, only sells the handset in a "Midnight Blue" color that doesn't do the sleek design full justice, with other carriers likely to pick up the more eye-catching "Pale Lilac" hue as well. 

Said other carriers confirmed to join the US availability party in the near future include T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, AT&T, US Cellular, Verizon, Straight Talk, Total by Verizon, Walmart Family Mobile, and Visible.
